Hatha Yoga
I have comprehensive knowledge of Hatha Yoga. I have been teaching and sharing yoga for nineteen years.
The Body
Yoga postures are performed within an individual’s physical limitations. They should be comfortable and if a posture is not ‘comfortable’ there is nearly always an alternative which will achieve the same end.
The Breath
The breath is used to enhance postures by encouraging the body to stretch and relax. The breath is also used to energise and/or relax the body.
The Mind
The Mind is used to control the breath and the body; encouraging the two to work together. Postures are to the rhythm of the breath which requires mindful concentration.
